Through their perspectives, you&#8217;ll get a sense of how we make it all come together.<\/p>\n<h2>Building Strong Foundations<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Aneta, HR Business Partner;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>When I joined Sienn, one of my first tasks was to assess our organizational culture. We set up a special task force to try and understand how our teams collaborate and how we could strengthen our company culture. <strong>We discovered that teamwork is at the heart of how we work.<\/strong> This was a key insight that helped us move forward.<br \/>\nWe continue building and reinforcing this team-oriented culture while also encouraging innovation and responsiveness to market needs. This process not only helps us align our actions with our values but also strengthens collaboration and ensures our employees feel connected and engaged.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Agata, Line Manager;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>A big part of my work is about supporting people. Since everyone works on different projects and faces unique challenges, it\u2019s important to build strong foundations for long-term success.<br \/>\nThat starts with clear expectations and ongoing support, but it\u2019s also about building a team culture where people trust each other and communicate openly. Along the way, I make sure individual goals stay aligned with the bigger picture and that feedback is consistent and meaningful.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ewelina, Scrum Master;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>I establish Scrum and guide teams on what the framework is all about. Scrum enables people to work together as a team and succeed. In distributed teams, success depends on strong collaboration, so teamwork is always my top priority.<br \/>\nBefore anything else, it\u2019s about <strong>building a strong foundation of trust and open communication.<\/strong> Once that\u2019s in place, Scrum becomes more than just a framework\u2014it turns into a natural way of working together. It helps the teams deliver value in small increments and continuously improve processes. All of this, however, depends on trust. It creates a safe space for feedback and ideas, and clear communication keeps everyone aligned and working toward common goals.<\/p>\n<h2>Making Teamwork Tick<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Agata; <\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nWe have a good way of making communication work for us. Everyone knows what&#8217;s expected, which makes it easy to collaborate. We&#8217;re all committed to what we do, and the way our teams and departments work together is something we&#8217;re proud of.<br \/>\nThe atmosphere is friendly and genuine, without any unnecessary pressure. <strong>But what really makes working here great is the people.<\/strong> Everyone\u2019s professional, open, and approachable, and that\u2019s what really helps us build strong, high-performing teams.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ewelina;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nWhen you work with distributed teams, connection doesn\u2019t just happen\u2014you have to create it. While remote work offers perks like flexibility and saving time on commuting, it can also feel isolating. Sometimes it can feel like there\u2019s less of a personal connection, even within a team. So I focus on building a connection from the start.<\/p>\n<p><q class=\"dfd-textmodule-featured-quote\">I like to kick things off with team-building activities. It helps team members get to know each other on a personal level and build a foundation of trust.<\/q><\/p>\n<p>Once we\u2019ve got that connection, transparency becomes key. I focus on clear and open communication so that everyone knows where we\u2019re headed and feels included in the conversation. This way, everyone can contribute and work collaboratively. When teams communicate well, it\u2019s easier to overcome challenges, and progress happens more smoothly.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Aneta;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nFor me, fostering a culture of trust is essential. In HR, we handle sensitive information, so it\u2019s key to create a space where people feel comfortable sharing their challenges or personal situations. Everyone in the company should feel supported and know that they can turn to HR when needed. We also encourage a learning environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth, which helps build a stronger, more collaborative atmosphere.<br \/>\n<strong>I think that when people feel valued and heard, they are more likely to stay engaged and motivated in their work.<\/strong> By creating a healthy and open environment where people can acknowledge when things go wrong and focus on solutions, we foster the kind of culture that ultimately benefits everyone.<\/p>\n<h2>Growing Together<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Agata;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nOne of the initiatives I\u2019m involved in is <em>Agile Caf\u00e9<\/em>. It started as a small group focused on Agile methodologies. But over time, it grew into a company-wide space for sharing knowledge, discussing tools and techniques, and improving our processes.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s almost like a training initiative. We prepare topics, present them, and add interactive elements like discussions and activities. The idea is to make it valuable for everyone. Since many of our teams work in Scrum, these conversations often help improve our workflows.<br \/>\nAnother initiative is <em>TechZone<\/em>, a space for developers and quality assurance specialists to share trends, new techniques, and tools.<\/p>\n<p><q class=\"dfd-textmodule-featured-quote\">Since we work in technology, innovation is essential, not just as a principle, but as something we practice every day.<\/q><\/p>\n<p>These initiatives help our teams grow and work better together. Sharing experiences and knowledge is not only energizing but also strengthens how we collaborate across teams. It\u2019s key to keeping everyone motivated and creating an environment that\u2019s all about growth.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ewelina;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nWhile working in dedicated teams has its advantages, we knew that we could create more opportunities to learn from each other across teams. <strong>Agile Caf\u00e9 became a space where everyone can come together, share knowledge, and discuss different ways of improving.<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat started as a focus on Agile grew into much more: a place for discussing everything from organizational culture to how we can work better together. It\u2019s a space where everyone has the opportunity to share, learn, and grow.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Aneta;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<strong>It\u2019s important that people have the opportunity to give feedback<\/strong>, whether it\u2019s in a formal review or in more informal settings like our Agile Caf\u00e9. It encourages employees to share openly, strengthening both collaboration and trust.<br \/>\nInvesting in people goes beyond training; it\u2019s about creating environments where relationships flourish. By fostering these connections, we build a team that communicates effectively, supports one another, and is better equipped to solve challenges and deliver value to our clients.<\/p>\n<h2>Delivering Lasting Value<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Ewelina;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nWe naturally extend our way of working together to our relationships with our clients as well. I work closely with the Product Owners to ensure that the clients&#8217; needs are well-understood and clearly communicated to the team. I ensure that the team knows exactly what the client needs, and I facilitate conversations to make sure we\u2019re all aligned.<br \/>\n<strong>The key to success is creating a feedback loop.<\/strong> Whether it\u2019s through regular updates or sprint reviews, we focus on keeping things transparent.<\/p>\n<p><q class=\"dfd-textmodule-featured-quote\">When clients know what\u2019s happening, they\u2019re more likely to feel included in the process, and they can provide feedback that helps us improve.<\/q><\/p>\n<p>I also make sure the team doesn\u2019t wait for permission to act. They\u2019re empowered to take ownership of problems and work on solutions themselves. This approach helps us deliver value faster and more effectively, ultimately benefiting the client.<\/p>\n<h2>Cultivating Success<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Agata;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nWe celebrate our wins, and that keeps us motivated to push ahead. We face challenges, put in the hard work, and in the end, we get to share our successes and experiences together.<br \/>\nPersonally, I believe success is not only about the big milestones, but also the small moments. When a team member shares positive feedback with me, those are the moments that make my job truly rewarding.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ewelina;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nIt\u2019s great to see the positive impact of our work. But just as important to me is <strong>watching the team take ownership of challenges and turn ideas into real solutions.<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen the team feels engaged and motivated, and there\u2019s smooth communication between everyone\u2014team members, stakeholders, and clients\u2014that\u2019s when I know we\u2019re doing things right. At the end of the day, my job is to create a collaborative environment where people feel safe, supported, and motivated to do their best work.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Aneta;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nI see our core values come to life every day. They are more than just words on paper. This investment in our people is also why our clients benefit from working with us.
